Gold filled is an actual layer of solid gold pressure bonded to another metal, that is at least 1/20th the weight of the total item. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. It is very hard wearing and under normal wear the gold will not peel or flake, is much more valuable and tarnish resistant

I'm allergic to anything fake so I either have to pay a lot for my jewelry but Earthly Abundance gives me best of both worlds it is gold plated silver which holds up way better than anything else I've tried. It's beautiful and doesn't make my skin turn green and doesn't cost 1000$ dollars
