Returns and Exchanges

Order Changes & Cancellations

Because our jewelry is handmade in our Vancouver studio, orders often move quickly into production or shipping preparation.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee order changes or cancellations once an order has been placed, as your piece may already be in production or packed for shipment.

If you need help with sizing, materials, or details, please contact us before placing your order, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Return & Exchange Policy

At Earthly Abundance, every piece is crafted using genuine gemstones and precious metals. We want you to love your jewelry and will work with you if something isn’t right.

Returns

Eligible items may be returned within 7 days of delivery, subject to approval.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition
  • Jewelry must be returned in original packaging
  • Return requests must be submitted and approved prior to sending any item back

Important: Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused and returned to sender.

Once your return is delivered to our studio, please allow up to 7 business days for inspection and processing. After approval, refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. Please note that during holiday periods, long weekends, or studio closures, processing times may be extended by an additional 3–5 business days. After approval, refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.

Depending on your financial institution, refunds may take an additional 3–7 business days to appear on your statement.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

 

Return Shipping & Processing Fees

United States
For approved U.S. returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label. A $15 USD return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

Remote or extended delivery areas may incur higher return shipping costs, typically $20–$30 USD, which will also be deducted from the refund.

Canada
Returns from within Canada are accepted by mail only. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Europe & International
Return shipping labels are not provided. Returns are accepted only in exceptional circumstances and at our sole discretion.

 

Exchanges

We offer exchanges within 7 days of delivery, subject to availability.

  • Items must meet all return eligibility requirements
  • Exchanges may be made for items of equal or greater value
  • Orders placed using a discount code or promotion are eligible for exchange only and are not refundable

Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom or personalized jewelry
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Resized or otherwise modified jewelry
  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)

 

International Orders

Due to customs regulations, duties, VAT, and re-import fees, all international orders are final sale, including those shipped to Europe.

In rare cases where an international return is approved:

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Packages must be clearly marked “Returned Canadian goods – no commercial value”
  • Any duties, VAT, or import charges incurred will be deducted from the refund or may void the return entirely

Unauthorized international returns may be refused.

 

Natural Variation

We work with 100% genuine gemstones. Natural variations in color, tone, texture, and inclusions are inherent to each stone and are not considered defects.

 

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Damaged, Incorrect, Lost, or Delivery Issues

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of the item, packaging, and any damage.

Claims submitted after this timeframe may not be eligible for resolution.

If your tracking indicates that a package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend first checking with household members, neighbors, building management, mailrooms, and the shipping carrier, as packages are often located shortly after delivery.

Delivered Packages

Once a package has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier to the shipping address provided at checkout, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer.

Earthly Abundance is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged after confirmed delivery. Delivery confirmation may include carrier tracking records, GPS verification, delivery photographs, signature confirmation, or other carrier-provided proof of delivery.

While we are always happy to assist customers in communicating with the carrier and investigating delivery concerns, we cannot guarantee replacement, reimbursement, or refunds for packages that have been confirmed as delivered.

We strongly encourage customers to provide a secure delivery location and monitor tracking information closely to ensure prompt retrieval of their package after delivery.

 

How to Start a Return or Exchange

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Refused Shipments & Unauthorized Returns

If a package is refused at delivery or returned to our studio without prior authorization, any eligible refund will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, in addition to all original shipping charges and any return shipping costs incurred.

This policy helps cover costs already incurred, including packaging materials, payment processing fees, shipping charges, return transit fees, customs/duties (if applicable), and the labor involved in receiving, inspecting, and restocking the piece.

If there is ever an issue with your order, we kindly ask that you contact us first. We are always happy to help and will do our best to find a fair solution together.

Combined Shipments for Multiple Orders
If you have multiple open orders with us, we may combine them into one shipment whenever possible to reduce packaging waste and streamline delivery. In these cases, a single tracking number may be used for the combined package, and that tracking ID may appear attached to each of the separate orders included in the shipment.

This means you may see the same tracking number listed across multiple orders — this is normal and simply indicates your pieces were lovingly packed together in one parcel.


Disclosure

Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment once the returned item has been received and inspected. Please allow up to 7 business days for inspection and processing, plus an additional 3–7 business days for your financial institution to complete the transaction.

Original shipping fees and return shipping costs are non-refundable. Any applicable return shipping or processing fees will be deducted from the final refund amount.

Refunds will only be issued for items that meet all return eligibility requirements. Items that do not meet these conditions may be refused or returned to sender without refund.

Refunds will not be issued for orders that have been confirmed as delivered by the shipping carrier unless otherwise required by law.
